4 WAYS TO SHOW GRATITUDE THIS THANKSGIVING

We are a few days away from Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is called “thanksgiving” for a reason. So instead of being caught up in the whirlwind of murmuring, grumbling, negativity, and complaints, we are expected to show gratitude on Thanksgiving Day.

Here are 4 ways to show gratitude this thanksgiving.

1. Bless Someone

One way to show gratitude during this thanksgiving season is to bless someone. Giving thanks does not necessarily mean breaking the bank.

Sometimes the best things we can give to people are the little things. It could be a simple hug, a Thanksgiving meal, a gift card, or a thanksgiving Firacard.

2. Send a Thanksgiving Firacard

You may not be a person of many words, but a simple Thanksgiving Firacard is sure to make someone’s day. A short heartfelt message telling them how much you are grateful for them will go a long way.

You can send it to your parents, spouse, best friend, bossco-workers, or anyone special to you. Make it more fun by inviting your family and friends as contributors. Get them to add fun gifs, videos, pictures, and backgrounds so the recipient will feel very special.

3. Volunteer

Is there a cause you are passionate about? Then, it’s time to show gratitude by volunteering for that cause. Donating some of your time and resources to the community is a meaningful expression of gratitude. For example, you can volunteer at food bank organizations that provide relief to families.

Also, you can volunteer to serve in local soup kitchens that help homeless and food-insecure people. So whether you are cleaning a public park or helping at a local animal shelter, giving back is a great way to give thanks.

4. Quality Time

Setting aside time for our loved ones is another way to express how grateful we are for them. So as we get into the festive mood, dedicate quality time to your friends and families. Spend time helping, serving, talking, and playing with them.

If there’s a new coffee shop they’ve always wanted to go to, here’s your opportunity to take them there. See a movie. Attend family picnics and events. And don’t forget to give hearty compliments all along the way.

As you get in the holiday spirit, always remember to let your loved ones know how grateful you are to have them in your life.
