Are you stumped on how to make the most of Mother’s Day with your family this year? We have come up with eight fun Mother’s day activities any mom will want to have with her family. Whether you are expanding on an old family tradition or creating a new one, these Mother’s Day activities would foster the bond you share with your family.

GO BIKE RIDING

If you reside in the city or the country, you can get the whole family out on their bikes. If the weather is cool enough, you can pack lunch and choose a destination to stop over and have a picnic.

SCAVENGER HUNTING

Choose Mother’s Day activities and games that are mom-themed and can involve both the kids and the adults. You can hide a list of clues that have to do with her in different areas around the house and then get the whole family to go hunting. Another idea is to take mom on a hunt to her favorite spots. It could be her favorite spot in the park, a coffee shop, her morning run route, or even under her pillow at home. While hunting, she would get a new note or a drawing at each spot from various family members saying how much they love her. Get the whole family involved in this adventure.

MAKE RESERVATIONS AT HER FAVORITE RESTAURANT

Moms will not mind a day away from the kitchen. Make a reservation for the family at her favorite local spot. Everyone gets to decide what they want on the menu.

MAKE A CRAFT

If you are looking for a perfect Mother’s Day gift that would be personal to her, get the kids to come around and join you in creating a fun project. You can try making a bouquet of paper flowers, beaded jewelry, or a knitted scarf. Kids love to get involved in DIY projects, so this should be fun. They can make ‘we love you mom’ paper cards with cardboard, poster colors, and markers.

HOST DINNER

Mother’s Day is a great time to celebrate all the women in your life. You can send an invite beforehand to your mom, sisters, aunt, and grandmas to join you on Mother’s Day for dinner. If you have other plans for that evening, a brunch will do. For brunch, you can decide to do a backyard bash.

HAVE A MOVIE MARATHON

Moms have busy schedules that would not always accommodate a stay-at-home-watch-movie-all-day on their to-do list. On Mother’s Day, find a comfy spot in your living room and spend the day binge-watching movies.

It is better to pick a family-friendly lineup of movies that everyone will enjoy watching. Remember to have a lot of wine, popcorn, cookies, chocolates, and enough knickknacks to round. Remember it is a do-nothing, go-nowhere day!

GO OUTDOORS

You can either take a stroll to a local park with a beautiful view, visit a local farm to pick fresh groceries, or simply head to a botanical garden. An amusement park is a perfect option if she is the thrill-seeking type. If the weather is great in your city, you can spend the afternoon on the beach. The kids can enjoy digging and building sandcastles while you read a book and enjoy the fresh air.

SPEND THE DAY CREATING MEMORIES

You can do this with a Firacard! You can send a single Mother’s Day Firacard to all the moms in your life. Simply make a collage of your favorite pictures with them and add messages that describe how you feel about them.

Tell them how much they mean to you and how blessed you are to have them in your life. Do not forget to add fun Gifs, videos, pictures, and colorful backgrounds. After creating your Firacard, you can send it to as many moms as you wish.

Distance is not a barrier with Firacard. Send them virtual hugs and kisses on Mother’s Day. Let them know they can download their Firacard as slideshows and keep it as a treasured memory.
